Hello! My name is Kate Grier and I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I study supermassive black holes and quasars using a wide range of techniques and observing facilities. My research is focused on using variability in quasars to measure black hole masses and learn about the physics regulating the inner regions of active galactic nuclei.
